As Vice President of Loureiro, Kate Engler is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Assessment Division. She has expertise in human health and ecological risk assessment, toxicology, environmental chemistry, and analytical chemistry and has provided human health and ecological risk assessment consulting at all project phases for sites involving groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil, and LNAPL contamination. In addition, she has provided toxicological consulting and prepared and presented risk communications for private industry employees and at public hearings, and has provided litigation support for human health and ecological risk characterizations and claims.  In her role as Vice President of Environmental Assessment at Loureiro, Kate leads a team of Licensed Environmental Professionals, Licensed Site Professionals, Professional Geologists, project managers, scientists, and geologists, and leverages the team to pursue opportunities in support of business and individual professional growth, and supports and furthers Division and company-wide initiatives.
